What we repair

• Active leaks and ceiling stains, traced back to the actual point of entry.
• Cracked or displaced pipe boots — the most common leak source we find, and often unrelated to any storm.
• Damaged, missing or wind-creased shingles.
• Failed flashing at valleys, chimneys, walls and roof-to-roof transitions.
• Storm damage: hail bruising, wind uplift, impact damage from debris.
• Ridge cap and ridge vent damage.
• Gutter and drainage issues contributing to water intrusion.

How a repair visit actually goes

1. We inspect the whole system, not just the reported spot

A single visible leak frequently sits alongside two or three other conditions that will become leaks within a year. We would rather show you all of them now than come back three times.

2. We trace the water path

Interior evidence tells us where water exited. Finding where it entered means working back uphill along the framing — which is why an attic inspection is part of a proper leak diagnosis, not an optional extra.

3. We tell you honestly whether repair is the right call

Sometimes it clearly is: a localized failure on an otherwise sound roof. Sometimes it clearly isn't: widespread granule loss, a deck with moisture damage, or a roof already past its service life, where a repair is money spent twice. We will say which one you are looking at, and we will show you the photos that led us there.

Repair or replace?

A repair usually makes sense when the roof is well within its service life, the damage is contained to a defined area, and the deck underneath is sound. Replacement usually makes more sense when damage is spread across multiple slopes, when the shingles have lost significant granule coverage, or when repeated repairs have already been made to the same area.
